The error has been solved after removing ‘Wildcard application maps’ in the IIS.
Here is the guidelines on how to remove it for your reference:-
1) Go to IIS and right click on your domain
2) Go to Properties
3) Click on the Home Directory or Virtual Directory Tab
4) Click on Configuration Button
5) Select wildcard application maps (Edit)
6) Click remove and close the IIS.
